Position: Athletic Coordinator
Reports to:Athletic Director Middle School Principal and Middle School Assistant Principal
Location: Deer Park Middle School
Begins:2026-2027 School Year
Purpose Statement:
The Middle School Athletic Coordinator serves as the primary building contact for middle school athletics and acts as a liaison between the school District Athletic Director coaches parents and league representatives. This position supports the planning organization and operation of the middle school athletic program while ensuring compliance with district league and WIAA regulations. The coordinator models positive leadership sportsmanship and professionalism for students and the school community.
The Middle School Activities Coordinator will NOT be able to hold head coaching positions at the high school while serving in this position.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT AND SALARY:
2026-27 Stipend $10000 (prorated based on start date)

Positions anticipated to work 70 hours or more per month for at least 5 months over a 12-month period are eligible for Retirement through the State Department of Retirement Services. This position is evaluated by the Athletic Director in collaboration with the Middle School Principal according to district evaluation procedures.
