Job Summary

Position Overview

Work with school faculty and staff as well as students parents and community to plan implement and evaluate curriculum. Assist staff with instructional needs through training modeling and supporting instruction in the classroom using best practices and research based strategies.

Position/Assignment Information: Professional/Certified Elementary Grades 4-5

Desired Qualifications

Education/Certification:

Bachelors degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned

Special Knowledge/Skills:

*Knowledge of subjects and instructional strategies specifically for PK - 1st grade
*Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
*Ability to develop and deliver instructional training to adult learners
*Knowledge of curriculum and technology used in instructional settings

Duty Days: 187

Salary Schedule:SISD salary schedule
