Job Summary
Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive healthcare servicesto theMissouri Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking aPrimary Care Physician to work 30 hours per weekatJefferson City Correctional Centerlocated inJefferson CityMissouri.
The Physician provides medical assessments and evaluations provides treatment for emergent urgent and routine medical issues provides and supervises medical treatment for chronic medical conditions and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases and injuries of patients in a correctional setting. The Physician works under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.
Qualifications
- MD/DO
- Board certified in primary care specialty
- Active unrestricted Missouri medical license
- Active unrestricted DEA
- Missouri BNDD
- Ability to pass credentialing and background check
Available Shift
- 30 hours per week
- Day Shift
- 10 hour shifts
- Monday - Wednesday
- No nights holidays or weekends
