In the ADAS Sensor Fusion and Control team we process vehicle sensors such as radar and camera systems as well as internal vehicle measurements into a consistent environment model with objects lanes etc. To this end we develop robust estimation methods to determine vehicle states and the surrounding environment that explicitly account for uncertainties. These observers form the basis for modelbased longitudinal and lateral dynamics control enabling precise and safe vehicle behavior in everyday commercial vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Development of robust realtime-capable controllers and online estimation of vehicle states
Design and implementation of model and datadriven observers for environment estimation
Productionoriented implementation on the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) with a focus on numerical robustness and runtime performance
Testing and measurement data acquisition on prototypes; handson validation and iterative improvement of the approaches in closed-loop

Qualifications

Degree program in Engineering Cybernetics or a comparable program with a focus on control engineering and system dynamics
Commitment and ability to work effectively in a team
Analytical mindset and a structured strategic way of working
