Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a Long-Term Care this role the CNA will provide direct patient care and assist residents with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort dignity and safety. The ideal candidate is patient-focused attentive to detail and experienced in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing dressing grooming and toileting
Support residents with mobility transfers and proper positioning to ensure safety and comfort
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff
Assist with feeding and ensure proper nutrition and hydration
Maintain a clean safe and organized resident environment
Support infection control and personal hygiene practices
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance
Accurately document care activities according to facility guidelines
Collaborate with nurses and healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care
Required Qualifications
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Current BLS/CPR certification (if required by facility)
Prior experience in long-term care nursing home or skilled nursing facility preferred
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Compassionate attitude with a commitment to resident-centered care
