Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in payment solutions for Small Medium (SME) and Global and Large (G&L) enterprises. The Corporate Solutions team within Global Commercial Products is responsible for developing and managing a suite of corporate payment and spend enablement solutions uniquely differentiated through innovative benefits features and partnerships underpinned by seamless digital experiences.

Within the suite of T&E solutions managed by this team the Business Travel Account (BTA) is a critical payment solution for our most valuable corporate customers. The BTA product development team spearheads the creation of best-in-class managed-travel spend capabilities to meet the evolving needs of US G&L and International GCG customers. This is an exciting time to join the team as we are on a mission to make BTA the market leading Central Bill travel payment solution by the end of 2026.

We are seeking a dynamic Associate in Product Development to manage development activity on our GCODS application which forms part of the Matching & Enrichment capabilities. This role sits in our BTA Product Development this role you will work closely with counterparts in Technologies Partnerships and Product Management to align technical solutions with business needs and drive delivery through a scrum team

Working with BTA PD Strategic Planning team to manage development activities for an application known as GCODS from product definition and planning through production release and post validation. Serves as the central resource with design process development and test.

How will you make an impact in this role

  • Work alongside the BTA Product Development planning team to define and prioritise key development activities for GCODS
  • Work with designated Product Owner and Scrum team to deliver prioritised features.
  • Supports in the documentation of as-is processes for product management product enhancements key findings and standard methodologies.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Product Technology and other adjacent stakeholders to gather and document product requirements and to ensure timely delivery of product features following agile development methodologies.
  • Assists in the identification of technical gaps and collaborates with broader teams to facilitate resolution of risks identifying opportunities and changes tied to the product roadmap involving the GCODS application.
  • Use analytical abilities and strategic perspective to identify trends & recommend solutions that will help improve the user experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • Have proven experience Product Development including:
    • Familiarity with PI planning and scrum team operations
    • Understanding of prioritization and requirements management
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Growth mindset curiosity and passion for learning with ability to instil this mindset within your team
  • Structured Problem Solving
