Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities

Core :

Accounts Payable : manages company's outgoing cash flow ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments invoice processing and expense reconciliation.
Asset Management : adherence to guidelines for acquisition maintenance retention and disposition of fixed assets and associated records
Compliance and Auditing : ensure compliance with tax regulations prepare and lead annual audits
Financial Reporting & Analysis : Lead month-end/year-end closing processes prepare financial statements and analyze budget variances.
Internal audit - Propose the audit scope and liaise with the Internal audit team (external) for executing the audit and ensure a strong follow up to close agreed actions
Lead to support Unit Risk Management program which will also require liaison and working with other functions

Ancillary :

Preparing unit level MIS
Oversight and support to Costing function
Team leadership : Supervise accounting staff providing guidance and reviewing their work.

Team building : within the function and partnering with the business/operations
Ability to network internally and externally to drive continuous improvement in the function
Support General Manager-F&

Team

Responsible for guiding and coaching team members in the team who will be reporting into this role to meet the goals of the function and support the site.
Productivity Date
This new hire needs to be fully productive after 2 months of training into their new role.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess the following professional assets:

Education:
Degree Level: Chartered Accountant Masters Degree in Commerce
Previous Experience:
12-15 years of relevant experience is preferable.
Domain Knowledge:
Sound knowledge in the area of Accounting GST taxation and Audit. A exposure to costing in Manufacturing environment will be preferred
