RightShip is looking for an exceptionFront-end Developerto join our team.He/she will help the organization continue to build world class data drivenproducts to solve some of the most challenging problems in the maritime industry by maintainingand improving quality across critical data sets.

This role requires an individual who is passionate about web applications andhas a keen eye forUI/UX.Craftingintuitive interfaces optimizing performance and ensuring seamless interactions for users across various devices. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital experiences that leave a lasting impact.Itis a great opportunity for an ambitious individual to join an environment where you can make the differences in day-to-day tasks and where your initiative will be appreciated.

Major Responsibilities

  • Write clean and efficientfront-endcode.
  • Develop new features on the client side.
  • Working onupdatingenhancingand refactorthe UI and UX.
  • Participate in requirements analysisbetween different stakeholders.
  • Collaborating withco-workerstofacilitatethe creation of large complexinterfaces as.
  • Integration with analytic tools analysing logs and fixing front end vulnerabilities
  • Testing yourwork on differentdevicesand form factorsto ensure that they arealigned with the requirements.
  • Remainingabreast of coding and technological changes that willimpactyour work.
  • Research andkeep up to date with latest best practices.
  • Participate instorygrooming sprint planning sprintretrospectivesand daily scrum.
  • Work closely with QA /Developers/ Data Engineersand Architects to deliver solutions that can scale.

Qualifications Skills & Experience

  • Diplomainweb design and development or equivalentqualifications.
  • AdvancedproficiencyinHTML/CSS.
  • Experience in the JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experiencewithframeworks such as Angular/ Aurelia / React.
  • Knowledge of web standards.
  • Knowledge onmobile-firstResponsive Web Design.
  • Knowledge of CSS pre-processorssuch as SCSS / SASS / LESS.
  • Experience in Cross-BrowserCompatibility.
  • Experience with AI tools to speed up development such as Copilot
  • Knowledge of Version Control such as GitHub /Bitbucket.
  • Familiarity withUnit testing such as Jest / Cypress / Selenium.
  • Familiarity withcomponenttesting tools such as Storybook / Figma Code Connect
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma / Sketch / Adobe XD
  • High attention to detail.
  • Adept at working with cross functional groups across multiple geographies.
  • Ability to deliver results withminimal supervision.
  • Outstanding analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Passion for technology and knowledge.
  • Good communications and written skills in English.
