[BD] Front End Developer UX Driven

A Front-End Developer specializing in UX Development (often called a UX Engineer or Design Technologist) serves as the bridge between creative design and technical engineering. For a global IT workflow product this role focuses on making complex technical processeslike automation builders and data-heavy dashboardsfeel intuitive for a diverse international audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Interaction Engineering: Develop sophisticated UI components for complex workflows such as visual logic builders real-time status monitors and multi-step configuration wizards.
• Design System Stewardship: Own and scale the global design system and component library ensuring pixel-perfect consistency across all regions and product modules.
• High-Fidelity Prototyping: Create interactive code-based prototypes to test and validate complex user journeys before full production development.
• Localization & Accessibility (a11y): Implement internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) strategies to support global users alongside strict adherence to WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
• UX Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize Core Web Vitals and interaction latency to ensure the product remains responsive under heavy enterprise workloads.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a translator between UX designers and backend engineers to ensure design visions are technically feasible and performance-compliant. 

Qualifications :

Must Have

• Education: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 5 years in front-end development with a portfolio highlighting complex enterprise UX (SaaS IT management or similar).
• UX Principles: Strong understanding of information architecture user psychology and usability testing methodologies.
• Front-end Expertise: Expert knowledge of HTML5 CSS3 (Sass or CSS Modules) modern layout (Flexbox/Grid) and TypeScript.
• Framework Expertise: Deep proficiency in React Angular or with a focus on building reusable stateful components.
• React proficiency building reusable stateful components and hooks; experience with state management.
• Design Tools: Practical experience with Figma Adobe XD or Sketch including the ability to extract assets and understand design tokens.
• Data integration: REST APIs WebSocket for real-time data; robust error handling and retry/backoff strategies.
• Workflow Technologies: Familiarity with data visualization libraries (e.g. ) and state management for complex data flows (e.g. Redux Recoil).

Nice to Have

• Design token pipelines (Style Dictionary) Storybook Chromatic/visual regression testing.
• Security awareness (OWASP front-end risks XSS/CSP secure handling of untrusted content).
• Observability (Sentry Datadog) feature flagging A/B testing.
• Experience with distributed teams and varying network conditions across regions.
• Localized experiences delivered in multiple languages including at least one RTL locale.
• Design system adoption across 2 product modules with documented components and usage guidelines.
• Measurable improvements in Core Web Vitals and interaction latency on at least one high-traffic workflow.
