About the Role

Our client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support enterprise applications used across Ontario. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing large scale web based systems within a structured agile environment.

You will contribute to both frontend and backend development while supporting modernization and cloud enabled initiatives.

What You Will Be Doing

Develop enterprise n tier applications using Java and related technologies
Build and integrate REST based services
Develop user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React
Work with relational databases including Oracle or SQL Server
Support deployments in Azure environments including container based solutions
Participate in CI CD practices and application lifecycle management
Troubleshoot performance and production issues

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a senior developer with strong experience in Java EE and Spring based development. You should be comfortable working with frontend technologies such as React along with HTML and JavaScript fundamentals.
Experience designing and integrating REST services is important. You should also have solid experience working with Oracle or SQL Server databases and writing optimized SQL queries.
Exposure to Azure cloud services and container orchestration such as AKS is preferred. Familiarity with WebSphere Liberty or similar application servers will be valuable.
You should have experience working in large enterprise environments and participating in agile development practices. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work onsite in Toronto are required.
