    Qualifications Were Seeking:

    • State of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Senior High endorsement in English.
    • ESL endorsement preferred.
    • Dual Credit College Composition endorsement preferred.
    • Demonstrates innovation and creativity consistently setting high expectations for student achievement.
    • Skilled in employing innovative instructional methods and adjusting strategies based on assessment data to cater to individual student learning needs.
    • Academically prepared to deliver compelling literature and composition courses.
    • Proven ability in educational planning including establishing and assessing short and long-term goals.
    • A strong understanding and proven ability to implement modifications and accommodations in both resource and inclusion classroom settings.
    • Committed to an interdisciplinary approach and eager to collaborate with colleagues on developing common assessments and enhancing current programs.
    • Ready to work with a coordinated curriculum focused on preparing students for external assessments.
    • Comfortable and capable of implementing a digital curriculum in a 1:1 iPad instructional environment.
