Position Summary
The Clinic Director (Katy) provides on-site leadership for the Katy Pediatric Therapy Clinic ensuring high-quality efficient and family-centered care. This role oversees daily clinic operations team performance and interdisciplinary collaboration while maintaining a small active caseload. The position requires both clinical expertise and operational leadership to support a thriving outpatient pediatric environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team to meet clinical productivity and qualityexpectations.
Conduct regular team meetings one-on-one check-ins and performance reviews in accordancewith company policy.
Maintain documentation of staff supervision training and performance actions.
Promote a positive clinic culture focused on teamwork professionalism and family care.
Actively Participate in monthly Meetings.
Clinical Quality and Compliance
Ensure timely compliant and accurate clinical documentation.
Provide mentorship and support to clinical staff on complex cases.
Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective or improvement plans as needed.
Serve as escalation point for clinical or family-related issues.
Clinical Caseload and Coverage
Maintain a personal caseload of approximately 14 visits per week (minimum).
Provide clinical coverage support during staff shortages or peak scheduling periods.
Recruitment and Onboarding Support
Partner with Recruiting and Director of Clinical Growth for candidate screening interviewingand selection.
Support smooth onboarding and retention of new team members.
Access Scheduling and Staffing Oversight
Oversee clinic scheduling and staffing to ensure efficient patient access and clinician utilization.
Collaborate with Intake and Authorization teams to prevent treatment delays and maintainappropriate caseload balance.
Authorization and Administrative Coordination
Support development and maintenance of consistent authorization workflows.
Track pending authorizations escalate delays and coordinate timely documentation to supportclaim success.
Work closely with the Intake Team to continuously staff the clinic and prevent caseload delays.
Proactively identify open capacity high-demand time slots and coverage gaps; adjust staffingplan accordingly.
Ensure consistent patient access to after-school and peak demand times when applicable.
Interdisciplinary and ABA Collaboration
Strengthen communication and alignment between OT PT SLP and ABA services.
Promote coordinated patient transitions and interdepartmental referrals.
Supervision of Assistants and Support Staff
Ensure proper supervision and utilization of assistants and technicians in compliance with statelicensure standards.
Support reassessment and documentation processes related to PTA and OTA practice oversight.
Operational Readiness and Compliance
Maintain daily clinic readiness including safety equipment and resource availability.
Collaborate with support departments (e.g. Billing/RCM) to resolve documentation oroperational barriers.
Uphold clinic and company policies safety guidelines and ethical standards.

Stable staffing and reduced turnover.
Timely documentation and compliance with payer rules.
Reduced authorization backlog and improved patient access timelines.
High team morale and collaboration across disciplines.
Measured improvements in clinical quality and operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
Current state licensure in Occupational Therapy Physical Therapy or Speech-LanguagePathology (required).
Minimum of five (5) years of pediatric therapy experience (outpatient preferred).
Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams or clinic operations.
Strong knowledge of scheduling documentation and payer requirements.
Effective organizational communication and conflict-resolution skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous leadership across multidisciplinary therapy teams (OT/PT/SLP).
Experience with ABA coordination or interdisciplinary models of care.
Familiarity with EMR systems and productivity reporting tools.
Work Conditions
Full-time salaried role.
Onsite presence is required; however certain duties may be performed remotely with remote work availability to be discussed at the time of hire.
Must maintain required clinical caseload while fulfilling leadership duties.
Occasional flexibility required based on patient and clinic needs.
