Job Overview

Client is seeking a Field Service Technician to install troubleshoot and service industrial equipment at customer sites. This role combines travel technical problem-solving and hands-on mechanical work.

Responsibilities

Travel locally (50%) to customer sites
Overnight travel within the U.S. (approximately 20%)
Troubleshoot mechanical systems and resolve technical issues
Clearly communicate technical information to customers
Collaborate with mechanical assembly welding and machining departments (30% in-house work)
Maintain detailed service reports

Qualifications

Technical degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience as a Field Service Technician or Mechanic
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Ability to work independently
