Job Summary

Job Title : Program Coordinator

Job Summary :

- Work with the licensing and environmental management team to ensure homes of children affected by lead exposure are safely inspected and repaired.
- Report directly to the program manager and coordinate with staff to provide necessary equipment and supplies for field work.
- Review and process license applications for radon and lead including communication with applicants and finance team for documentation and payment tracking.
- Organize digitize and maintain license and monitoring records including receipt retention and electronic filing of all records.
- Track staff progress on EPA grant deliverables and ensure risk assessments for children with elevated blood lead levels are assigned and completed.
- Monitor supply availability for field staff and coordinate new or refill orders as needed.
- Manage equipment inventory coordinate with vendors for maintenance or replacement and address upgrade needs.
- Support onboarding of new employees and contractors and assist with short-term projects for Division Director and staff.
- Research and resolve inquiries from licensees public and other departments by referencing necessary files and documents.
- Scan/shred confidential HIPAA-protected records and ensure compliance with confidentiality requirements.
- Provide staff support at outreach events and participate in divisional and program staff meetings.
- Maintain general knowledge of hazards related to lead radon and healthy homes issues.
- Apply established procedures for data support and information verification tasks requiring problem-solving and limited research.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite Adobe Acrobat and webinar/conference call technology for daily tasks.
- Communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with both professionals and non-professionals.
- Work involves balancing multiple moderately complex projects tracking deliverables and escalating issues when necessary.
- Interact with agency personnel and the public to ensure accurate recording and communication of information.
- Position is office-based with the expectation of periodic site visits to meet field staff and observe in-home work.
- Ensure timely documentation in Indiana s I-LEAD IPLA and MOL record-keeping systems supporting compliance and EPA funding.
