Job Title: Upper School Science Teacher

Job Summary:
Nashville Christian School is seeking a dedicated and qualified Upper School Science Teacher for grades 9-12. The primary focus of this position is instruction in Chemistry though the role may include teaching other science-related courses as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging science curriculum for students in grades 9-12.
- Serve as the primary instructor for Chemistry courses.
- Potentially teach other science disciplines based on departmental needs.
- Assess student progress and maintain a positive productive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- A valid teaching certification OR a degree in a science-related field.
- Strong knowledge of Chemistry and general science principles.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
SCHEDULE:
This is the equivalent of a full-time exempt position working Monday-Friday from 7:15 AM - 3:15 PM with a 30-minute lunch break commensurate with the hours the school is open. Time off shall coincide with the NCS teacher schedule and school holidays.
