Summary:
This role is ideal for a science educator passionate about teaching Anatomy & Physiology in a college-preparatory high school setting. As a Long-Term Substitute Teacher you will lead three sections of Anatomy & Physiology delivering engaging instruction and maintaining continuity in a structured academic environment. You will support student learning through lesson delivery classroom management and collaboration with faculty.
What Youll Do:
- Teach 3 sections of Anatomy & Physiology aligned to curriculum standards.
- Deliver lesson plans assessments and instructional materials.
- Maintain a structured and engaging classroom environment.
- Support student learning through instruction feedback and evaluation.
- Collaborate with faculty and administration to ensure continuity of instruction.
- Participate in school responsibilities including prep and resource periods.
Experience Youll Need:
- Bachelors degree in Biology Life Sciences or related field.
- Experience teaching high school science preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to follow established curriculum and lesson plans.
- Prior Anatomy & Physiology teaching experience a plus.
