Job Summary

Salary Expectations: $32.18/hour - $49.88/hour

The primary responsibility of the Echocardiogram Technologist is:

Performs all basic adult cardiac echocardiogram procedures.

Edits tracings.
Makes measurements and enters data into the computer.
Distinguishes between normal and abnormal cardiac findings.
Performs cardiac sonographer duties to meet departmental needs including recognizing
arrhythmias and the implications of specific cardiac and related diagnoses to
obtain optimal studies.

Minimum - Associates Degree from accredited cardiac ultrasound program or RDCS/RCS eligible background with 1 year of cardiac echo experience. - REQUIRED
Certified through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Adult Echocardiography or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) in Adult Echocardiography. - REQUIREDDOCUMENT
Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire. - REQUIREDDOCUMENT
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. REQUIREDDOCUMENT
