Job Summary
Job Summary for Automation and Manual Tester
- Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure software quality and compliance with user requirements
- Develop and maintain user technical and project process documentation
- Interpret modify and write scripts and SQL queries
- Work within Agile methodology and participate in Azure DevOps processes
- Collaborate with application teams and stakeholders to align procedures and requirements
- Learn and adapt to new business application functionalities and emerging technologies (including AI)
- Ensure software quality throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Design develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium or similar frameworks
- Utilize Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow
- Apply knowledge of web technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) to testing procedures
- Use Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles preferably in C#
- Follow test automation best practices and design patterns (e.g. Page Object Model Data-Driven Testing)
- Perform cross-browser and web application testing in production environments
- Use version control systems (Git GitHub) and understand branching pull requests and code reviews
- Communicate test results and provide feedback to development teams and stakeholders
- Document test cases and automation procedures clearly and effectively
- Collaborate with developers product managers and other stakeholders
- Hybrid work environment with in-person presence as required by project needs
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on automation testing experience
- Preferred: Knowledge of Generative AI (LLM or RAG) familiarity with YAML pipelines and Azure DevOps/Jenkins
