Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format) PET/CT Technologist
- Perform routine and advanced PET/CT procedures for diagnostic and treatment purposes with minimal supervision.
- Screen patients for precautions or contraindications prior to procedures.
- Prepare and explain procedures to patients position them correctly and provide support throughout the process.
- Adjust scan parameters and utilize dose-reduction techniques as appropriate to ensure patient safety and image quality.
- Stay self-motivated to continually increase knowledge of PET/CT technology disease processes and new procedures.
- Complete additional assigned duties as needed (approximately 5% of the role).
- Adhere to established standards and protocols to ensure quality patient care and accurate results.
