Job Summary

- Provide nursing care for adult psychiatric inpatients with a variety of mental health diagnoses (e.g. ADHD Bipolar Disorder Autism Spectrum Eating Disorders PTSD Anxiety Depression Psychotic and Oppositional Defiant Disorders).
- Care for adult patients with co-occurring medical conditions including substance abuse disorders alcohol or opiate withdrawal (stable) hypertension diabetes geriatric conditions (high fall risk) pain and occasional wound care.
- Utilize and document via electronic patient rounding systems and Rover technology (for photos vital signs food intake).
- Operate and monitor patients using ObservSmart equipment.
- Work variable shifts: 07:00-15:30 15:00-23:30 or 23:00-07:30.
- Participate in mandatory orientation on May 30 31 with work beginning June 1.
- Must hold current California LVN license BLS certification and CPI/ProAct/PMAB certification.
- Inpatient psychiatric experience preferred.
- Adhere to facility protocols for patient safety and care especially for high-risk populations (geriatrics fall risk substance withdrawal).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive mental and physical health care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and participate in ongoing training as required.
