Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer
Location: Clackamas OR
Job Type: Full-Time On-Site
Role Description
The senior sales engineering role serves as the primary contact point for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) utilizing firm as a contract manufacturing partner for custom medical fluid bags and other disposable medical devices. Customer relationship management business development and leadership of engineering projects for existing and prospective customers are core activities of this position. Critical to success is effective collaboration with our production and quality management teams and an ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Sales Engineering and successful project management of medical device manufacturing projects.
- Strong Sales and Customer Service experience with an emphasis on nurturing long-term client relationships.
- Bachelors degree in mechanical plastics materials or biomedical engineering or other technical field of study.
- Ability to work on-site in Clackamas OR with occasional travel to meet with clients.
- Medical device manufacturing experience preferably with plastic films and knowledge and close familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and ISO 13485.
- Well balanced verbal and written communication skills with an ability to receive and share detail in a clear accurate manner with a wide range of counterparties.
- Report writing and solid understanding of documentation requirements for contract manufacturing of medical devices including preparation and presentation of price quotations covering production runs prototyping work report preparation (IQ OQ PQ) and validation work.
- Outstanding time management skills with an ability to prioritize work efficiently in order to meet deadlines and customer commitments.
- Ability and comfort using Computer Automated Design (CAD) software.
- Experience in medical fluid bag engineering and proficiency with Radio Frequency (RF) welding machinery required.
