Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)

Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation services in a healthcare setting in Junction City Kansas. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients develop treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions designed to restore function improve mobility relieve pain and prevent disability. The role requires collaboration with physicians nursing staff and other rehabilitation professionals to deliver quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient needs.

Provide therapeutic exercises manual therapy gait training and mobility rehabilitation.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Document patient evaluations treatment plans and progress notes in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals exercises and injury prevention strategies

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care

Ensure compliance with facility policies safety procedures and applicable healthcare regulations
Minimum Qualifications

An active Physical Therapist license in the State of Kansas issued by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts or eligibility to obtain one before starting.

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent)

Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent

Strong clinical evaluation and patient care skills

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in skilled nursing rehabilitation or post-acute care settings

Experience working with geriatric or orthopedic rehabilitation patients

Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and therapy documentation standards
