Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager for Toyota Milpitas who can lead from the front coaching mentoring and developing a high-performing sales team.
The ideal candidate will be:
Highly proficient in gross profitability
Skilled in managing high-volume operations
Focused on daily execution accountability and performance
Actively engaged in the CRM making calls and driving follow-up
Process-driven with the ability to create and implement systems that elevate the entire sales department
This role requires a leader who is hands-on someone who emphasizes phone activity appointment setting follow-up and consistent coaching to ensure the department operates at the highest level every day.
We are a 300 unit Toyota store currently ranked Top 10 in the Bay Area with tremendous traffic and significant room for continued growth. This is a strong opportunity for the right leader to make an immediate impact.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual (preferred but not required)
Proven track record of success as a Sales Manager
Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds
Strong leadership accountability and communication skills

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the sales department including budgeting forecasting and setting sales goals.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Ensure all sales processes and procedures are followed in compliance with dealership policies and regulations.
- Train and develop sales staff on product knowledge sales techniques and customer service.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Resolve customer issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to inform sales strategies.
- Assist with recruiting hiring and training new sales team members.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of our products and services to effectively sell to customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales.
- Previous experience in a management or leadership role.
- Proven track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of automotive sales processes and finance and insurance (F&I) procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
