Location: Melville - Long Island NY 5 days onsite to start then 3-4 days

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Materials Management (MM) Solution Specialist to lead and support SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementations with a strong foundation in SAP Activate methodology. This role plays a critical part in designing configuring and optimizing SAP MM solutions that support procurement inventory management and end-to-end supply chain processes.

The ideal candidate is a strategic hands-on SAP professional who thrives in collaborative environments brings deep functional expertise and is passionate about delivering high-quality scalable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Delivery

Lead and contribute to SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementations focusing on SAP MM configuration and best practices.
Execute project phases using SAP Activate methodology (Discover Prepare Explore Realize Deploy Run).
Translate business requirements into functional designs solution architectures and configuration decisions.

SAP MM Functional Expertise

Configure and optimize SAP MM functionalities including:
- Procurement & Purchasing
- Inventory Management
- Vendor Management & Evaluation
- Material Valuation
- Invoice Verification
Ensure seamless integration with FI SD and PP modules to support end-to-end business processes.

Business Collaboration & Enablement

Partner with business stakeholders to lead workshops requirement-gathering sessions and solution reviews.
Support change management user training and adoption initiatives.
Provide expert guidance on SAP Fiori applications and embedded analytics (preferred).

Testing Support & Continuous Improvement

Support unit testing integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional issues.
Provide post go-live support and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay current with SAP S/4HANA innovations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Information Technology Business or a related field.
5 years of SAP MM experience including 2 years with SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
Hands-on experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery models.
Strong understanding of procurement inventory control materials planning and vendor management processes.
Experience with SAP Fiori and embedded analytics is a plus.
SAP MM or SAP S/4HANA certification strongly preferred.
Excellent analytical problem-solving communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
