Job Summary
Job Summary:
The Perfusionist is responsible for performing perfusion-related duties including operating heart-lung machines and managing patient physiological functions during cardiac surgery and other procedures. The role involves advanced aortic arch repair and grafting procedures requiring experience with ECMO and cell saver techniques. The Perfusionist will report to the Chief Perfusionist and must be able to respond to call within 15 minutes.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heart-lung machines during cardiac surgery.
- Manage patient physiological functions during procedures.
- Perform advanced aortic arch repair and grafting procedures.
- Manage ECMO and perform independent ECMO cannulation.
- Utilize cell saver techniques.
- Respond to urgent/emergent cases as needed.
- Participate in weekend and overnight call rotations.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- 5-10 years of experience (will consider 5-10).
- CVOR General OR and Trauma Level 1 experience.
- ECMO experience.
- Independent ECMO cannulation experience.
- Cell saver experience.
- AHA ACLS certification.
- AHA BLS certification.

- 5x8 hour shifts 0715 - 1730.
- First case starts at 0715 unless urgent/emergent.
