Job Summary:
The GIS Analyst 3 will be responsible for understanding current data states workflows and processes to develop solutions for integrations transformations and deliverables. This includes GIS data analysis data mining technical support and database maintenance to meet customer requirements. The role requires the ability to solve complex problems and recommend optimal data development and processing strategies focusing on process improvement quality control data creation conversion migration and maintenance.

Responsibilities:
- Perform technical project tasks including database design advanced GIS analysis and modeling.
- Conduct data mining activities to meet customer requirements/specifications.
- Provide specialized queries maps and reports to meet customer requirements/specifications.
- Perform application testing and document defects.
- Interface with users and document requested/needed changes.
- Identify new GIS technologies/processes/applications to improve inter-/intra-departmental functions.
- Create and maintain existing automated processes using Model Builder/Python scripting or other tools.
- Process prepare and convert data to enter into GIS from various data formats.
- Analyze current business processes and recommend best practice solutions.
- Perform QA/QC on version data that pushes to the production environment.
