Job Title: AWS Cloud Security Architect

Locations: Remote but candidate must be within 1 hour of San Francisco Los Angeles or Salt Lake City

Role Type: W2/C2C Contract

Length of Contract: 12 Months

In-Person interview is required at any of the above-mentioned offices

Job Summary:

Seeking an AWS Cloud Security Architect to lead security design threat modeling and risk assessments for cloud-based data platforms. The role focuses on securing AWS architectures evaluating vulnerabilities and implementing security controls in modern data environments.

Required Skills:

10 years of experience in technology and cloud security
Strong experience with AWS security and risk evaluation (GovCloud preferred)
Expertise in system threat modeling and cloud security architecture
Experience with Databricks and one of: Starburst Collibra or Immuta
Strong understanding of modern security threats and mitigation strategies

Preferred:

CISSP CCSP or related security/cloud certifications
