Business Litigation Associate

About the Role:

As a Business Litigation Associate you will work across all phases of litigation supporting and managing matters involving commercial and business disputes. The position offers early responsibility meaningful client exposure and the opportunity to build courtroom and case management experience.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting in all phases of general commercial civil and business litigation
Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings motions and briefs
Supporting case strategy discovery processes and trial preparation
Collaborating with litigation teams to develop effective legal arguments and case strategies
Managing case files and documentation with a high level of organization and attention to detail
Working with clients across a national and international portfolio

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have:

0 6 years of legal experience in litigation or related practice areas
Strong academic credentials
Excellent legal research writing and analytical skills
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
The ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
Recent judicial clerkship experience is considered a plus

Candidates must have active membership in the Iowa Bar or be eligible for admission by waiver. Applicants who are not currently admitted must obtain Iowa Bar admission.
