About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Associate (2 4 years experience) to join a growing Labor & Employment practice within a nationally recognized U.S. law firm. This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of employment matters providing strategic advice to employers while also supporting complex litigation across federal and state courts as well as government agencies.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in advising clients on workplace-related legal issues supporting employment litigation and assisting organizations in navigating evolving labor and employment regulations. This position offers meaningful client exposure hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop within a collaborative high-performing legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counseling to employers on a wide range of labor and employment law matters
• Support litigation matters before federal and state courts as well as administrative agencies
• Conduct witness interviews and internal workplace investigations
• Draft position statements for agency proceedings
• Prepare and review employee handbooks workplace policies and compliance materials
• Draft employment agreements and separation agreements
• Assist with strategy and preparation for employment-related litigation
• Conduct legal research and produce high-quality legal writing and analysis

Requirements:

• 2 4 years of experience in labor and employment defense
• Experience providing employment counseling and supporting litigation matters
• Strong legal research analytical and writing skills
• Experience conducting investigations and witness interviews
• Ability to draft employment-related documentation including policies and agreements
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active membership in The Florida Bar
