About the Role:

An established global law firm is seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Associate to join its growing Louisville office. This is an opportunity to work within a premier litigation team handling sophisticated high-impact matters from initial strategy through final resolution.

You will play an active hands-on role in complex commercial litigation collaborating closely with experienced litigators while taking meaningful ownership of cases. The role offers a hybrid structure balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility depending on case and workload demands.

This position is ideal for a driven attorney who thrives in fast-paced environments values high-level legal work and wants exposure to sophisticated matters typically handled by top-tier litigation practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage litigation matters from commencement through resolution.
Draft pleadings motions briefs and other substantive filings.
Propound and respond to written discovery.
Gather and analyze relevant information from clients.
Draft and argue substantive motions and briefs.
Take and defend fact witness depositions with limited supervision.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategy and creative legal solutions.
Deliver exceptional client service by understanding client objectives and aligning litigation strategy accordingly.

What You Bring:

3 5 years of litigation experience including commercial litigation.
Demonstrated ability to manage cases on a day-to-day basis with increasing independence.
Excellent academic credentials.
Strong writing analytical and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively and build consensus.
Commitment to teamwork and exceptional client service.
Intelligence initiative professionalism and sound judgment.
Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Judicial clerkship experience is a plus though not required.
