Summary:
-
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft mechanical systems within standard CMP time requirements
-
Provide work direction and mentorship to assigned technicians; uphold high-quality standards
-
Act on behalf of the Mechanical Team Lead (MTL) when assigned
-
Coordinate with Inspection to ensure FAA and internal compliance; complete all documentation accurately and timely
-
Properly tag store and safeguard customer property and components
-
Operate ground support equipment (power units hydraulic rigs nitrogen/oxygen carts) per SOPs and JSAs
-
Coordinate aircraft movement as required
-
Assist in training employees on CMP SRMs IPC usage flight test installations and major component maintenance
-
Coordinate overhaul or repair of customer property with other departments
-
Utilize material tracking systems for parts ordering and labor charging
-
Apply 6S and Lean principles to maintain clean safe work areas
-
Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials
-
Maintain and return company tools and equipment appropriately
-
Support aircraft certification and final phase testing including participation in flight tests as required
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
Minimum 4 years of aviation maintenance experience including 3 years on mid- to large-size aircraft
-
Corporate aircraft experience preferred
-
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required
-
Valid Drivers License required
-
Advanced knowledge of aircraft inspection and maintenance procedures across product lines
-
Strong understanding of technical reference materials (maintenance manuals IPCs SRMs Service Bulletins engineering drawings etc.)
-
Working knowledge of FAA regulations Repair Station and Quality Control manuals and company policies
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
