Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Security Operations Analyst II to work hybrid with our client Cox Automotive supporting the IT Risk & Security organization. This is a full-time contract role with the potential to extend or convert to full-time based on performance and business needs. As a Tekberry W2 employee you will have access to health benefits including dental and vision.

Support day-to-day security operations activities including monitoring analysis and response to security events and incidents.
Investigate and triage security alerts escalations and anomalies across enterprise systems and environments.
Collaborate with internal IT infrastructure cloud and application teams to remediate security findings and reduce risk. Assist with incident response efforts including documentation root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
Support vulnerability management activities including tracking remediation efforts and validating fixes.
Participate in the continuous improvement of security processes tools and operational procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation runbooks and incident records in accordance with security and compliance standards.
Support compliance audit and risk-management initiatives as required.
Participate in on-call rotations or after-hours support as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the IT Risk & Security team.

3 5 years of experience in security operations IT security SOC or related technical security roles.
Strong understanding of security operations concepts incident response workflows and threat analysis.
Experience working in enterprise IT environments including cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
Ability to analyze security events logs and alerts to determine impact and appropriate response.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document incidents clearly and concisely.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.
Eligible to work in the U.S. (US-based candidates only).
Ability to work onsite 2 3 days per week in Atlanta GA or New York NY.

Experience working with SIEM SOAR EDR or vulnerability management tools.
Familiarity with cloud security concepts (AWS Azure or GCP).
Exposure to security frameworks or standards (NIST ISO CIS etc.).
Experience supporting audits compliance efforts or risk assessments.
Prior experience in large enterprise or regulated environments.

USC/GC not required but U.S.-based candidates only.
Potential to extend and convert to full-time employment.
