Full Job Description

Work Schedule:

Working Days: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Friday

Hours: After 6 PM

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility
• Clean building floors by sweeping mopping scrubbing or vacuuming them
• Clean walls windows and mirrors
• Clean and supply restrooms
• Remove waste and empty trash
• Maintain a cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleaned and inspected
• Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies
• Organize janitorial storage areas
• Team player positive attitude energetic and committed
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Perform cleaning tasks of common areas throughout the building including but not limited to bathrooms lunch area employee lounge kitchen areas offices walkways/aisles. This includes normal routine duties and as conditions dictate
• Maintenance duties
• Refuse and recycling
• Perform all job duties in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to performance standards
• Ability to recognize issues and escalate to the supervisor promptly
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

Minimum of six months of experience providing janitorial services.

Required Qualifications:

• Highly motivated self-starters
• Able to lift 20 pounds and walk/stand most of the day
• Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies read and interpret written information write clear statements and communicate orally
• Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
• Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism
• Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule of days weekends and holidays
