We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Identity and CDP Architect to lead the strategic design implementation and optimization of our Identity spines and Customer Data Platform ecosystem. As a key member of the Marketing Technology team this role will bridge business objectives and data architecture by organizing and integrating identity graphs that match traffic across apps and websites to known enterprise customer profiles. The role will also associate unidentified traffic with digital footprints recognized beyond owned digital properties enabling the creation of unified customer and prospect profiles built around one or more personas. The ideal candidate will support and guide marketing activation initiatives and possess strong knowledge of data integration patterns to effectively leverage identity graphs and operationalize CDP capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identity & CDP Architecture Strategy:
    • Lead architecture and implementation of enterprise Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) including independent providers (e.g. mParticle Treasure Data) or embedded CDPs within Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
    • Design and evolve identity spines that unify first-party and third-party identity signals.
    • Architect persona-based customer and prospect data models.
    • Define scalable integration patterns to support identity graph ingestion and activation use cases.
  • Identity Graph & Data Integration:
    • Design and manage data feeds into CDPs and identity graph providers.
    • Work with identity providers and data brokers such as LiveRamp Acxiom Epsilon and Experian.
    • Implement deterministic and probabilistic identity matching strategies.
    • Support integration across websites mobile apps and digital properties.
  • Marketing Activation & Tag Management:
    • Enable activation across owned paid and SEO channels.
    • Oversee tag strategy implementation for tracking targeting and campaign optimization.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams and agencies across tiered channel structures.
  • Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Bridge business marketing goals with technical data architecture execution.
    • Partner with agencies and ad management teams to enable data-driven activation.
    • Support governance frameworks particularly within the Person domain and MDM integration.
    • Provide planning resourcing and architectural oversight across Martech initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Several years of experience in implementing CDPSs or leading the architecture of homegrown composable CDPs. This could include independent CDP providers such as mParticle and Treasure Data as well as embedded CDPs in AEP and SFMC.
  • 5 years of work on Data integration (especially feeds into CDP and Identity graphs)
  • 3 years of experience with Identity providers and data brokers such as LiveRamp Axciom Epsilon and Experian.
  • 3 years of experience working with websites and apps.
  • 5 years of experience with the use of tags and their use in tracking targeting etc.
  • Good working knowledge of different activation technologies in Owned Paid and SEO areas.
  • 2 years experience in working with a tiered marketing/sales channel with different agencies on the ad management and creative sides.

Good to Have:
  • Excellent communication planning and resourcing skills.
  • Experience of working within a clean room environment.
  • Prior experience in using Adobe Experience Platform (particularly Adobe Analytics Adobe Target Adobe Launch)
  • Exposure to the evolving Data Privacy Landscape in North America.
  • Good understanding of MDM implementations and their use particularly in the Person domain.

  • Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OP technical discussions peer reviews etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
