Registered Nurse (RN) Ambulatory Care (Urology)

Location- Syracuse NY

Shift: Monday Friday (Days)
Schedule: No Weekends / No Holidays
Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Ambulatory Registered Nurse with urology clinic experience. The ideal candidate will have strong outpatient procedural experience and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience performing urology-related ambulatory procedures and proficiency with EPIC EMR.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments in an ambulatory setting
Assist providers with urology procedures including:
- Cystoscopy
- Bladder instillations
Deliver patient-centered care with minimal supervision
Document care accurately in EMR
Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

Active New York State RN License
BLS Certification (must be eligible for recertification)
Minimum 1.5 years of recent RN experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
Subject to drug screening and background check
No history of license suspension investigation or professional liability claims

Required & Desired Experience

1 year experience in the ambulatory/related field (Required)
Level 1 trauma hospital experience (Highly Desired)
Ambulatory clinic experience (Preferred)
Urology experience (Preferred)
Experience performing cystoscopy and bladder instillations (Preferred)
EPIC EMR experience (Preferred)
