Job Summary

Hiring for Lung Transplant RN Coordinator. Location: Boston MA - $3500/week. For quick submissions reach out directly at . An additional $500 Travel and completion bonus is also provided.

Position Details:

13-week contract with Possible extensions.

  • Schedule/Shift: 5x8s Days (8 am to 4:30 pm).

Compensation for Travelers (40hrs/week):

  • Gross Weekly Pay: $3500/week.

  • Taxable Weekly Pay: $1480/week W2 Rate: $37/hr.

  • Non-Taxable Weekly Pay: $2020/week.

Job Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of ICU experience

  2. Massachusetts RN license and BLS.

  3. Must be Fully COVID Flu vaccinated.

Job Duties and Responsibilities.

  1. Provides care within his or her scope of practice and licensure in the outpatient setting to achieve optimal physical social and emotional rehabilitation.

  2. Identifies and responds to recipient/family/legal guardians educational psychosocial and economic needs in the post-transplant phase.

  3. Reinforces education and follow-up requirements necessary for successful outcome.

  4. Observes monitors and assesses recipients compliance with medications and medical regimen; collaborates with the transplant team to attain and maintain compliance.

  5. Collects and reviews data pertinent to recipients health and organ function and ensures that the information is documented in the patients chart.

  6. Coordinates lab work and testing for post-transplant clinic visits and communicates lab data and diagnostic results to transplant physician/health care provider

  7. Implements changes in drug/treatment therapy as ordered by physicians and other credentialed health care providers.

  8. Understands post-transplant protocols and acts as a resource for internal and external health care providers (e.g. high risk labs/NAT testing laboratory and testing schedules outpatient rejection treatment).

  9. Arranges for consultations diagnostic procedures infusions and hospitalization when indicated (e.g. direct admissions ED and hospital transfers IV infusions ECP treatment and navigating insurance authorizations scheduling bronchoscopies sleep studies and thoracenteses).

  10. Maintains communication with referring physician PCP and other health care providers.

  11. Provides and maintains comprehensive documentation in patient medical record.
