Job Summary
Title: Recruiter
Location: Remote Candidate local or regional to Chattanooga highly preferred (within 50 miles)
Duration: 6 months Possible extensions
Shift: 8am to 5pm
Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Equivalent experience is defined as four (4) years of professional work experience in a corporate environment.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a recruiting or recruitment support role.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems required.
Skills / Certifications
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately manage administrative tasks while balancing multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in environments with ambiguity change and evolving priorities including AI and technology-driven transformation.
- Strong relationship-building collaboration and influencing skills with Hiring Managers and cross-functional partners.
- Strategic thinker with creativity and problem-solving skills to address complex talent needs.
- Effective communicator with strong oral and written communication skills both internally and externally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently under general supervision and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized adaptable and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience using AI-enabled tools to support recruiting administrative or operational work (e.g. sourcing support reporting documentation workflow optimization).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or similar generative AI tools and the ability to apply them responsibly to improve productivity communication and insights.
- Curiosity and willingness to experiment with emerging technologies and new ways of working.
- Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance stakeholder communication data analysis and decision support while maintaining compliance and sound judgment.
- Comfort adapting to evolving tools processes and capabilities as part of an ongoing digital and AI transformation.
Job Profile Summary
- Supports end-to-end recruiting activities across the full talent acquisition lifecycle including sourcing interviewing offer coordination and pre-hire administration. Partners closely with Hiring Managers and key stakeholders to deliver effective timely and data-informed talent solutions. This role provides both strategic recruiting support and essential administrative and operational assistance and thrives in a fast-paced environment undergoing AI-driven transformation. The ideal candidate is agile curious open to change and skilled at building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders.
- In addition to supporting full life cycle recruitment this role would support with recruiting administration tasks.
Job Responsibilities
- Supports the full recruiting lifecycle for exempt and non-exempt positions including requisition intake sourcing screening interviewing offer coordination and pre-employment activities.
- Partners with Hiring Managers to understand workforce needs and provides guidance on recruiting strategies market insights and best practices aligned with organizational goals.
- Builds strong trust-based relationships with Hiring Managers HR partners and other stakeholders; effectively influences and advises to drive hiring outcomes.
- Educates and advises Hiring Managers on recruiting strategies hiring practices and process improvements that support business objectives.
- Researches and sources candidates using advanced search techniques and multiple recruiting channels; collects analyzes and summarizes recruiting data trends and metrics.
- Manages internal and external recruiting sources and coordinates offer processes once a candidate is selected.
- Coordinates organizational recruiting activities such as job postings job fairs interview scheduling candidate communications and initial candidate screenings.
- Provides administrative and operational recruiting support including requisition management interview logistics documentation reporting and accurate updates in the Applicant Tracking System to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Assists in the development continuous improvement and adoption of recruiting processes tools and practices that support the goals of the Human Resources function.
- Actively participates in an evolving AI-enabled recruiting environment by embracing new technologies including Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools to improve productivity insights and candidate and stakeholder experience.
- Demonstrates agility and curiosity by adapting to change learning new capabilities and identifying opportunities to enhance recruiting outcomes through innovation and technology.
