- Build and maintain strong relationships with Strategic Markets (SM)
- Dental Service Organizations
- Dental Schools
- Hospitals / University Hospitals
- Group Purchasing Organizations
- Government Institutions
- Analyze market data and internal metrics to develop & implement strategic plan
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets foster account growth and identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their needs address concerns and provide solutions that meet their objectives
- Understand customers requirements & needs and collaborate with internal departments such as sales marketing & education to ensure the quality of product and services.
- Prepare and present reports on account performance sales forecasts and market insights to internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate contract negotiation meetings in conjunction with SM HQ Team
- Participates on assigned committees and meetings to provide ongoing feedback using market data and industry trends
- Attend industry tradeshows and key customer events to help uncover opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships
- Uncover & develop opportunities for pilots and new initiatives that can be scaled among existing and new customers
- Report to an assigned branch two times per week unless traveling for business purpose
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business administration marketing or a related field; MBA preferred
- 5 years of experience in account management in healthcare fields
- 2 years of working experience at Dental Service Organizations or DSO related
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual-thinking skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
- Excellent technical and communication skills
- Experience using customer relationship management (CMS) software
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
- Competency using Microsoft Office Suite
- A track record of following through on commitments
- Excellent planning organizational and time management skills
