Job Summary

Job Title: Test/QA Engineer Azure Storage

Work Mode: Bellevue WA - Hybrid (3 days a week WFO is must)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Test Engineer to support the Azure Storage team in validating Data Direct (DD) and Encryption (EN) functionality on xDPU platforms. The role focuses on test design automation execution and defect management across lab and datacenter environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute test cases to validate Azure Storage features on xDPU.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
Port selected test scenarios to PowerShell for datacenter (DC) validation.
Create and manage test plans in Azure DevOps (ADO).
Execute functional negative performance scale and longevity tests.
Log detailed defects with proper diagnostics logs and timelines.
Work closely with engineering teams to debug issues and validate fixes.
Support regression testing and continuous test execution.
Contribute to lab and infrastructure improvements when required.
Take full ownership of assigned tasks.

Required Skills

Strong Python automation experience
Good knowledge of PowerShell scripting
Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
Understanding of Azure Storage services (Blob Queue Table Files)
Experience in debugging and defect tracking

Good to Have

Experience with Node Recovery
Knowledge of ICM Geneva Jarvis Azure Data Explorer Power BI
Experience working in datacenter (DC) environments
