Must be 18 or older OR a high school graduate.
Class will begin Wednesday April 1 2026 at 8:30am. (This is NOT a Paid Training Program.)
Classes are Wednesday Thursday & Friday from 8:30am- 5:00pm the program lasts four (4) weeks.
In order to START the programyou must pay for the following:
- Background Check- $29.00 (Must be paid within 72 hours of accepting the Student Offer)
- Fingerprinting- $10.00 (Must be cleared at least a week before class)
- Must be 18 or older OR a high schoolgraduate.
- Background check & fingerprint must all be received & completed 1 WEEK PRIOR to the start date of the Program. If not you will be removed from the program.
- Attendance is CRUCIAL because the program is 4 weeks. We do not allow absences.
What Spanish Cove will provide:
- CNA Training course at NO COST to you.
- The learning equipment & materials needed for your clinical experience
Responsibilities of a CNA
- Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs such as showering bathing dressing and eating.
- Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation.
- Help with mobility around the facility or outside (doctors appointments walks etc.)
- Plan and prepare meals.
- Assist with physical therapy exercises.
- Complete clients shopping or accompanies them to do so successfully.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
- Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals including serving and other tasks if necessary
