Cascade AIDS Projectisexcited to announce that we are hiring skilled and team-orientedSeniorDirectorof People and Culture.TheSeniorDirectorof People and Culture (SDPC) will lead the organizationspeople and cultureteam and support equity initiatives to create a sustainableandhealthy organizational culture that aligns with CAPs core values and strategic direction. This includes CAPs commitment to beinga high-functioning supportive diverse anti-racistequitable and inclusive organization.

Thepeople and culture team including two (2) P&C Business Partners the HR and PayrollAdministratorthe Volunteer Managerand the P&C GeneralistwillreporttotheSeniorDirectorofPeopleandCultureforday-to-day report to the Chief Executive Officer and be part of the Executive Leadership Team.

This is aFull-Timerole workingat inthe Old Town area of Portland. Some travel to our other officesmay schedule for this role isa Hybrid Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm3 days in office and 2dayswork from home.

Starting payfor this position is $115000 a year.

Who You Are

  • Certified as eitherSHRM-SCP or SPHRor ability and commitment to obtainthis.
  • Bachelors degree in a related fieldorcommensurateexperience(2 years ofadditionalmanagerial HR workexperience);
  • At least8years of senior / executive level human resourceexperiencepreferably at anonprofit healthcareorganization with at least 100employees;
  • A deep understanding of Human Resource compliance in both Oregon andWashington;
  • Experience thatdemonstratesfluency engaging with communities of color LGBTQ communities and communitiesimpactedby HIV OR a willingness to learn about thesecommunities;
  • Directexperiencesupervisingateam;
  • Directexperience with labor relations preferably at a nonprofitorganization;
  • Exceptional leadership project management and organizationalskills;

WhatYoullDo

  • FunctionasastrategicadvisortotheELTonkeyorganizationalandmanagementissues.
  • In partnership with the P&C Business Partners lead and manageall aspectsoflaborrelations;
  • Lead union bargaining initiatives and provide strategic guidance and support to Managers andP&CBusiness Partners on union-relatedmatters;
  • Inpartnershipwiththe ELT and P&C Business Partnershelpdefine the overarching vision identity and strategy to continually strengthen CAPs culture andpracticesand meet organizationalgoals;
  • Create and implement organizational development initiatives that enhance CAPs workplaceculture;
  • Participate and engage intrainings workshops and team discussions.
  • Utilize Asana project management software to organize and lead projects for theP&Cteam;
  • Manage annual and multi-year projectsfor theP&Cteam;
  • On occasion prepare monthly and quarterly reports on organizational progress for the ELT ( CFO) Board and others as needed.
