Responsibilities
Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately
Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to identify issues
Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines transmissions electrical systems steering suspension brakes and HVAC
Communicate directly with Service Advisors regarding additional repair needs and estimated completion times
Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Prior Service Technician experience preferred but not required
Vocational or technical degree preferred
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency
Positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn new technologies and manufacturer repair procedures
Valid drivers license required
