We are seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support the installation maintenance and repair of advanced industrial equipment at customer locations across the United States. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability who enjoys working independently in the field solving technical problems and building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities- Perform installation startup maintenance and repair of industrial machinery at customer sites
- Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and operational issues to restore equipment performance
- Interpret schematics technical drawings and machine documentation to diagnose problems accurately
- Use diagnostic tools and meters to test components and confirm proper machine operation
- Provide customers with clear technical support training and service updates during on-site visits
- Maintain detailed service records reports and documentation after each assignment
- Work closely with internal teams to communicate service findings and recommend corrective actions
- Travel extensively throughout the U.S. to support equipment installations and service needs
- Strong experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Background servicing CNC equipment industrial machinery or comparable automated systems
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints
- Comfortable using multimeters and working safely around electrical equipment
- Capable of working independently managing priorities and solving issues in the field
- Professional communication skills with the ability to represent the company well at customer sites
- Willingness to travel frequently approximately 75%
