Compensation
Salary Range: $95000 $112000 (Based on experience)
Relocation: Available on a case-by-case basis
Schedule: Full-time Days with 24-hour accountability
Department & Unit Overview
Surgical Suites: 12 total (10 Main OR beds 2 CVOR beds)
Volume: 25 cases per day
Team: Oversight of 62 FTEs
Clinical Focus: High-acuity specialties including trauma open-heart and advanced stroke intervention
Job Summary
The Manager of Surgical Services will direct the effective delivery of clinical care maintain standards of nursing practice and foster an interdisciplinary team approach to ensure patient progress and successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Accountability: Oversee department functions 24/7 ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accrediting requirements.
Quality Improvement: Develop and implement programs to monitor and enhance nursing care quality and patient safety.
Continuity of Care: Collaborate with surgeons patients and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless treatment plans and efficient patient throughput.
Operational Excellence: Maintain appropriate equipment and supplies to support high-quality surgical services.
Patient Experience: Participate in rounding and foster a quiet healing environment to positively impact patient satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent (within the last year) Acute Care OR leadership experience.
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Certifications: BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire.
