SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Under the supervision of the IT Systems & Security Manager the Systems Analyst supports district technology operations with a focus on device management endpoint configuration and operational support for district IT initiatives. This role works collaboratively with IT staff to maintain reliable computing environments support enterprise systems and assist in the execution of technology projects that support instructional and operational goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Communicate effectively with students staff and the general public by telephone via e-mail and in writing.
- Administer and support mobile and endpoint device management systems including Google Admin Console and Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
- Deploy configure and maintain printers and multifunction devices (MFPs) including driver deployment print queue management troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues and coordination with vendors for service and support
- Provide technical assistance to IT staff and end users including supporting Windows ChromeOS and IOS (iPads).
- Assist with IT projects and initiatives including device deployments and refresh cycles systems upgrades and migrations hardware lifecycle management and documentation and process improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams vendors and service providers to resolve issues and implement solutions.
- Travel between district locations as required to provide on-site support.
- Provide ongoing documentation of IT systems processes and procedures.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT NECESSARY:
Standard office equipment and technology including desktop and laptop computers mobile devices printers telephony systems and enterprise IT tools necessary to perform the essential functions of the position such as management platforms including Microsoft Entra Google Workspace and Active Directory.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
(Testing may be required)
- Experience supporting enterprise or organization IT environments.
- Working knowledge of Endpoint management (Intune Google Admin or equivalent) and Windows and ChromeOS environments.
- Familiarity with Active Directory or Entra ID.
- Experience supporting printers and multifunction devices.
- Experience in K-12 IT preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration endpoint security or device compliance and scripting or automation such as PowerShell preferred.
- Experience supporting large scale deployments at multiple sites preferred.
- Demonstrated strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Demonstrated strong communication and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate the tools and equipment as listed above.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to follow established procedures accurately maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and work effectively as part of a team.
- Must possess a current valid motor vehicle license and be able to travel from location to location.
- Must possess a mobile phone with a data plan and be willing to install multi-factor authentication (MFA) applications such as DUO Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator as required for system access.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with others as part of a team.
