This role owns the end to end Apple device experience-ensuring macOS and iOS devices stay secure compliant and usable at scale through JAMF modern Apple management and tight coordination with security and IT operations.

JAMF Policy & Configuration Engineering Create or refine: Configuration Profiles Smart Groups Extension Attributes Migrate legacy workflows to: Declarative Device Management Blueprints Reduce scripting where Apple-native controls now exist Modern Apple mgmt less scripting more intent based configuration. Software Packaging & Deployment Package third party apps (or manage Patch Policies) Maintain Self Service catalog: Keep it clean useful and current Decide: Whats silent push vs. user initiated What updates auto apply vs. staged ABM & Enrollment Ownership Manage: Automated Device Enrollment Token renewals MDM server assignments Coordinate with: Procurement Security Identity teams Cross Tool Coordination Use Tanium for: Deep endpoint visibility Compliance validation Security signal correlation JAMF remains the control plane; Tanium adds insight and enforcement visibility This person understands where JAMF stops and Tanium starts-thats rare and valuable.
