Position: Principal Systems Analyst Brokerage Platforms (COBOL/Mainframe)
Location: New Jersey

Job Summary:
Looking for a Principal Systems Analyst to bridge Mainframe (COBOL) and Distributed/Microservices architectures within Brokerage systems. Role focuses on analyzing legacy logic and supporting modernization across Trade Settlement Tax and Corporate Actions domains.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze COBOL/Mainframe logic and convert into technical requirements & user stories
Support modernization to distributed/microservices architecture
Create test data perform log analysis and validate system behavior
Work with DB2/Oracle for data mapping and validation
Collaborate with Agile teams and write detailed Jira stories
Ensure seamless integration via REST APIs and distributed systems

Required Skills:

Strong Mainframe & COBOL analysis experience
Solid SQL skills (DB2/Oracle)
Experience with REST APIs & distributed architectures
Knowledge of TDD and system debugging/log analysis
Brokerage domain expertise (Trade Settlement Tax Corporate Actions) preferred
