StepStone Hospitality is seeking a dynamic People & Culture Manager to join the leadership team at the Four Points by Sheraton Suites Tampa Airport Westshore. This role is responsible for supporting all human resources functions while fostering a positive workplace culture that aligns with StepStone Hospitalitys mission and values.
The People & Culture Manager will partner with hotel leadership to support recruitment employee relations training compliance and team member engagement while ensuring a welcoming and inclusive work environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day People & Culture (Human Resources) operations for the hotel
- Support recruitment hiring onboarding and orientation of new team members
- Provide guidance to managers on employee relations coaching and performance management
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and company policies
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Support training initiatives and team member development
- Coordinate employee engagement programs and recognition initiatives
- Assist with benefits administration and workers compensation reporting
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Requirements
- 3 years of Human Resources experience preferably in hospitality
- Knowledge of HR practices employment law and employee relations
- Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Experience supporting a diverse workforce
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
