As Head of Quality (m/f/d) you have a holistic responsibility or the integrated Management System Quality Control and Quality Assurance. Quality of products and processes has highest priority as we supply the world leading brands. Today we operate a quality management system according to ISO 9001. In the future we plan to extend this with additional certifications following the requirements of our customers from different industries.

Your responsibility and impact within AMSilk company means to:
- Develop and lead the implementation of AMSilks quality management system in line with ISO standards customers requirements and the companys strategy and policies
- Ensure adequate quality control processes at our production partners in the fields of biotechnology fiber spinning and fast-moving consumer goods and support its enhancements in cooperation with internal QC and analytics experts
- Establish and enhance quality assurance processes at AMSilk to meet the quality expectations of our customers
- Support the launch of the multiple new products to the market and Lead the project workstreams in the quality regulatory compliance safety areas
- Lead the contracting efforts and regular reviews/updates related to the Quality agreements with the Manufacturing partners
- Proactively assess and evaluate quality deviations as well as initiating root cause analysis of deviations in terms of quality standards and management systems
- Build and maintain deep and lasting relationships to AMSilks key customers and manufacturing partners
- Lead AMSilks quality team and cultivate the development of the team
Your areas of knowledge and expertise are:
- At least 10 years of professional experience as Head of Quality or corresponding role
- Proven experience leading a quality function of an international company with industrial production and outsourced production
- Hands on experience with the launch of new products to the market (esp. chemicals or biochemicals)
- Experience in negotiation of quality agreements with production sites
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to chemical products and preferably biotech textile and surfactant products
- Experience with ISO 9001
- Fluent language skills in German and English
