Job Summary
The Fast Pass Representative supports hospital operations by overseeing the Fast Pass process and ensuring patients and guests are greeted screened and routed appropriately upon arrival. This role contributes to operational efficiency and facility safety. As the program grows responsibilities will expand to include enhanced vetting of Emergency Department guests. The position provides 24/7 operational coverage and works collaboratively with clinical and security teams to support a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Fast Pass process for incoming patients and visitors. Guests must present ID at check-in which will be processed through the system. Alerts are handled according to established protocols.
- Greet and direct patients/guests promptly ensuring they are routed appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with registrars clinical teams and security as needed.
- Maintain awareness of lobby and common areas reporting concerns per established procedures.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail while utilizing the Fast Pass system.
- Work 12-hour shifts as needed including every-another weekend.
- Provide excellent customer service while upholding organizational mission and values.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Technical Skills and Competencies:
Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in telephone etiquette.
Basic computer skills.
